I know I took a picture for you all to believe that I made this. I am proud to say that Miss Abbi's post about not buying soup has made me think that I should make more so two weeks ago I made homemade chicken noodle soup and today I am making this one. I am glad that my daughter loves veggies and is not picky. Cause as you know I am. I loved the way the colors looked.

tears are flowing down my face as i try to imagine what it would be like to never have a family at all. Think about growing up in a hospital. how cold would that be? what kind of person would you end up being? I looked at one of the adopt kids websites so many kids with no home. Famous people adopt all the time oversees babies why not take your money and help this child that the world views as unloveable because of age or a medical condition. I wish that i could take all of them in and love them. I need to stay away from those websites.

I want to go to Heaven I think most everyone does. The problem that i face is not saying sorry and loving God now it is my prayer and study life. I have decided that I will not go all three times to services and make it a have to thing and not something that I look forward to and love to do. I know that some might think that this is wrong and maybe I might again later too but for now I want to want to go not feeling forced or that it is just a habit. I love to learn and love to study but understanding and accepting things have not always been my strong suit. Please pray for me I grow in my Christian life.

Today I did not want to go to church. I love to sleep and ended up waking up at a little before six and did not get to bed till like 2. I thought I would run late and then just not go. So when I got outta the shower at like thirty after I could not not go. I went with the wrong attitude but I went and Dan wrote the sermon for me(or so it seemed). It was on forsaking the assembly. He said that you could be at church and still forsake. To many times that is what I used to do I went because I had to not because I wanted to worship or learn something. But everytime I went I learned something just like today. So what is more important the attitude in which you go to Church with or the attitude you leave with? Is one more important than the other? Do we go for God or the great fellowship? Things I need to think about. As I work towards being a good person.

oops these ended up backwards. I may never get the hang of all of this. We started off the vacation with a visit from the kids and their Mom. It was so great to see them and they look so good. Miss them already. Then we got to spend the night with Carrie and Roger. that was fun. I am surprised how Eavan just came to me and wanted me to pick her up.

Then is South Dakota we saw all of this stuff. We don't wear nor ever would wear fur but that billboard was so funny that I had to share. We went through this 1880's town and it was cool. I think that more people should help keep history alive like that. We camped at the coolest camp site. They had a pool and a mini golf thing all for the low price of 15 dollars.

We at first stopped at a lot of

things and then realized that we were not going to hit Bismarck in time for the Saturday visit with Byron so we put a stop to seeing the little things. Which I am glad because we spent about 5 hours at what my next post will be about.

Terry and I get to go on our long awaited HONEYMOON. The first stop on this trip is a one night stay with Carrie and Roger. It has been way too long since I have seen them and have been going through withdrawals and then wednesday we are off to Mount Rushmore and other National Parks in South and North Dakota. This weekend I will see Byron my brother for the first time in four years which will be hard for me to see him in Prison but it will lift his spirits and we have really been growing in our relationship since this whole mess started. We will be gone at least eight days. I am so excited to spend this time with my wonderful Husband.

I am looking for neat ways and fun ways to help me con't to lose weight and so today we went and got the cutest bike I have ever seen. I rode around for about half an hour and loved every moment of it and plan on going everyday maybe twice a day. I have been averaging about two and a half lbs per week and this should help me con't on that healthy weight loss rode.

The 15 year old and baby were not meant to live with us. I still am praying that everything works out and that she stays safe and all that. That is two cases now that we have waited for them to come or for DHs to decide if we are the right home. This waiting and seeing I think is one of the hardest parts of being a foster parent. I wonder sometimes if this is God teaching me that things do not go as plan and you have to live more by the seat of your pants then by plans lists and all that. The turtle is a drawing by a friend Scott Piper he is so talented had to share.

Our Aunt Violet passed away this morning. I want to remember the good times and moments shared. She lived not to far from us. And we would go to their house and they would come to ours a lot too. We would play cards make lefsa and have so much fun with the cousins. She was like 20 years older than my Dad so she had grandkids our age. We spend many a nights there. she let us cry on her shoulder. Her and my Uncle Martin were a favorite of us kids. Uncle Martin would be doing his wood working and we would have to go help. I know that we were more in the way but we never were made to feel that way. Anyway I could go on and on but I won't.

Everyone here is now well and good. We have manage to go almost two weeks without a vet visit and I for one am happy too.

I love this picture because you can see Bandi's smile. I love that. He warms my heart everyday one way or another. And to think that someone gave up the chance to have such a wonderful cat. If you can't till he is my pride and joy. Please don't tell my other two they might get their feelings hurt. lol

We are done with the third class and there is so much that we have read studied learned that I think that my head is on overload. Thursday is our first home visit and that is a bit scary. but should go well. We got a bunk bed for two hundred dollars and it is metal with a desk underneath. I am so excited to have my dear friend Carrie for a visit. I had to share. So as with any visit deep cleaning is in order. We have been in midst of rearranging cupboards and the kitchen too. And my fridge is in need of a good cleaning. Terry and I keep leftovers with the best intentions but they just seem to be science projects around here. We need to get better about that. I don't know why but I think this picture is so cool. I was trying to take a picture of the tree coming out of the ground but as you can tell not quite there. This tree almost fell on our house we had strong winds and rain on Thursday and it pulled it up. SAD!! One hate to see a tree go and two they are so expensive to have cut down. This guy was crossing the street and was hit it looked like people saw it and everything and they did nothing. In fact one guy crossed the street and was within 2 feet of the man. The other day my niece Savannah called me so excited. She goes Auntie guess what I got it is something you have. I go YOU GOT A DOG!! YES she goes. Hello there. What have you been up to? This week I sorta started a babysitting job. It is a 20 hour a week job and I love the little girl. So it does not feel like a job more fun. Terry has two days off this week so we are going to try and get the yard work done. Terry pulled a muscle in his back or something before I went to Minnesota and it is now getting back to what it was thank you yoga. So we have yet to get that done. Anyway. Oh and Jeanne is out of our house. It is a good thing I just hope that she makes it work on her sorta own. After eight or nine months it was about time.

I love when the birds play out in the yard even though we have three killer hahaha cats inside wanting to eat them. The grass just seems to be a brighter shade of green this year. Next Friday we bury my Dad. Gotta love North Dakota. Anyway some of my sisters are blaming and making the death an awful thing. Yes it is not fun to have him gone I miss him everyday. And cry a lot, however when he made the choice to stop that kidney thing I can not spell, He for the first time in years had control of something and felt like a man again. there was this peace that washed over him and he started to do things again that he enjoyed. Those card games and singing times are all special memories that I will have forever. I needed to write this because I was allowing them to put it into my head that if someone else would have been there he would still be alive. That is not true and oh just pray for that situation.

Hope that you all are having a great day the sun is out and I am in God's country again. I came up to maybe take my three year old niece home with me and to help my sisters out. This will be the second Sunday in a row that I have missed Church however sometimes I feel that I get more outta a song or watching God's handywork than from a sermon. Yesterday I was coming up and at sunset I was near a lake and I can not think of anything more gorgeous than a sunset over a lake. Puts a smile on my face and warms the heart. The only thing better would have been to enjoy it with Terry.

God gave us dogs as a practice for kids. All of you with one say AMEN!!! Today Annie our new one had some jealousy issues. She peed at my feet twice never went to the door or anything. I was watching Zoe and playing with her. She had been out a number of times. Made me so mad. So we put her into time out and told her naughty dog. Will my child ever learn? One day I may look back at this and laugh.

When you forgive someone it is not for them so much as for yourself. I was reminded of that just today. Cause sometimes it is so hard to forgive. One of my wise sisters said to me that Jesus forgave you and said to forgive HOW MANY TIMES? In the hardest times in life there is bright spots. I need to start looking more for those. Here are some blessing I have to be thankful for God, a wonderful husband that not only loves me but accepts me for who I am , friends, my MOM, wonderful in-laws, cute nieces and nephews, trees and flowers.
