Our newest addition Casper!! He has so much energy and love to give kisses. Mainly to wake you up from deep sleep to let you know he needs attention. He is way too cute.

Not this time!!!

The 15 year old and baby were not meant to live with us. I still am praying that everything works out and that she stays safe and all that. That is two cases now that we have waited for them to come or for DHs to decide if we are the right home. This waiting and seeing I think is one of the hardest parts of being a foster parent. I wonder sometimes if this is God teaching me that things do not go as plan and you have to live more by the seat of your pants then by plans lists and all that. The turtle is a drawing by a friend Scott Piper he is so talented had to share.

I love you Aunt Violet!!

Our Aunt Violet passed away this morning. I want to remember the good times and moments shared. She lived not to far from us. And we would go to their house and they would come to ours a lot too. We would play cards make lefsa and have so much fun with the cousins. She was like 20 years older than my Dad so she had grandkids our age. We spend many a nights there. she let us cry on her shoulder. Her and my Uncle Martin were a favorite of us kids. Uncle Martin would be doing his wood working and we would have to go help. I know that we were more in the way but we never were made to feel that way. Anyway I could go on and on but I won't.

Zoe and I have so much fun swinging on the porch swing or writing on the sidewalk. She is too much fun. Thought I would share this one cuz when I see it I can not help but smile.

April showers bring May flowers

Rain Rain Rain. Gotta love the rain. Cuddle up with a cozy blanket and a good book and enjoy. Maybe have a cup or two of tea. Right now I have some Russian Tea that Carla my sister gave to me. Thanks for that. Hope all of you are safe and warm.
