A reason that things don't get done around here!

I was working on putting this new fabric on the seat and was getting it done until someone decided that he needed to test it out. Casper must have decided that he liked it because he is still sleeping on it.

Goodbye Paul

That is the smile that you almost always saw one of joy and laughter. Who would have thought that it was a mask. One that hide the depression and hurt. We will miss you.

Our newest addition Casper!! He has so much energy and love to give kisses. Mainly to wake you up from deep sleep to let you know he needs attention. He is way too cute.

Not this time!!!

The 15 year old and baby were not meant to live with us. I still am praying that everything works out and that she stays safe and all that. That is two cases now that we have waited for them to come or for DHs to decide if we are the right home. This waiting and seeing I think is one of the hardest parts of being a foster parent. I wonder sometimes if this is God teaching me that things do not go as plan and you have to live more by the seat of your pants then by plans lists and all that. The turtle is a drawing by a friend Scott Piper he is so talented had to share.

I love you Aunt Violet!!

Our Aunt Violet passed away this morning. I want to remember the good times and moments shared. She lived not to far from us. And we would go to their house and they would come to ours a lot too. We would play cards make lefsa and have so much fun with the cousins. She was like 20 years older than my Dad so she had grandkids our age. We spend many a nights there. she let us cry on her shoulder. Her and my Uncle Martin were a favorite of us kids. Uncle Martin would be doing his wood working and we would have to go help. I know that we were more in the way but we never were made to feel that way. Anyway I could go on and on but I won't.

Zoe and I have so much fun swinging on the porch swing or writing on the sidewalk. She is too much fun. Thought I would share this one cuz when I see it I can not help but smile.

April showers bring May flowers

Rain Rain Rain. Gotta love the rain. Cuddle up with a cozy blanket and a good book and enjoy. Maybe have a cup or two of tea. Right now I have some Russian Tea that Carla my sister gave to me. Thanks for that. Hope all of you are safe and warm.

A wedding

My sister Mary is getting married this weekend. one week to plan a wedding and guests of about 50. I think that it is crazy and exciting all at once. Loves it sorta I will post pictures when I come back.

They are so cute I had to share. Mom and Max. Every year I think the two of them get cuter. When they were here Terry and I came home from a meeting or class and there they were sitting on the sofa holding hands watching a movie like two teenagers. It touched my heart.

Being Rude!!

Sometimes I feel as though I get so rapped up in my own world that I forget that others have things to say and have feelings to consider to. One day I will wake up and realize that people love to be greeted with a howdy do or just listened too. WAY TOO FUNNY!!!

This morning I had the funniest thing happen, my bottom burped and Levi was behind me which is almost always the case and he goes poop and tried to check my pants. Terry and I laughed and laughed.

Backpack

Today we discovered the love of the backpack. You can store your pillow in it and toys too. Then you can empty it and build something. We have been listening to "Camp Lisa" cd and today before the words came Levi was singing them. Time for a new cd.

Ok all you mothers of boys. How long do you leave them on the potty chair to get used to it? and is that the best way to do it? I know that I need to start soon. Any ideas will help thanks

Most amazing things ever.

Running noses, toys in the way, diapers that need changing, way too much laundry, and little hugs and kisses, the tiny little giggles. It will be hard when that all goes away but for those moments it when that smile is for you and running to the door to greet you will all be worth it.

Life is changing

We got the call last night. Good thing God blessed us with Sharon Devore. We needed a crib and clothes for a under one and then for a two year old. Yep you read that right 2 boys 2 and under. Should be fun.
